The conference "We create climate for the future" was organised by CI2, o. p. s. on January 26th and 27th  2016 in Liberec. 

The aim of the conference was to spread awareness about adaptation to climate change in terms of cities and municipalities, show examples of adaptation in different sectors and be inspired by approaches from Norwegian partners. 

The conference was conceived as a platform for exchange of experience in the increasingly popular and discussed topics: urban adaptations to climate change. Presenters from different sectors (forestry, water management, urban planning, environmental protection) and the types of institutions (non-profit and scientific organizations, universities, public administration) offered to participants of innovative approaches and concrete solutions.

Eliška Krkoška Lorencová from CzechGlobe presented the project UrbanAdapt.
