UrbanAdapt project is coordinated by Department of Human Dimensions of Global Change, Global Change Research Institute (CzechGlobe).
The coordinator is involved in project activities and is responsible for financial and administrative reporting, project outputs.
CzechGlobe leads and participates in the project activities focused mainly on:
- Climate change related risk and vulnerability analysis in the pilot cities
- In cooperation with local stakeholders identification and assessment of relevant ecosystem-based adaptation measures
- Preparation of adaptation strategies in pilot cities - Prague, Pilsen, Brno and the preparation of the implementation process

Several CzechGlobe departments are involved in the UrbanAdapt project. Apart from the Department of Human Dimensions of Global Change, Department of Climate Modelling (future climate scenarios for the pilot cities), Department of Climate Variability and Climate change Analysis and Department of Remote Sensing (analysis of urban heat island using remote sensing techniques) are involved.
Financial and administrative support is provided by Project Management Unit. Project manager is Martin Pavlík, financial manager Jana Majerová.
