Czech Environmental Partnership Foundation is leading Czech foundation that helps people to protect and improve their environment. For this purpose, we distribute grants, run education programmes, and provide professional services and inspiration from abroad. A key tool in fulfilling the mission of the foundation is effective communication and public participation.

Partnership Foundation as a partner of UrbanAdapt project aims to develop a participatory approach in the discussion of adaptation to climate change, as well as support the cooperation between representatives of cities, experts, local initiatives and NGO's.  We believe that if the process of developing strategies to climate change adaptation involves all the concerned parties and stakeholders, it is possible make a step forward and fullfill the goals of strategy. Through information campaigns and best practice excursions, we want to influence the representatives of cities in taking the impacts of climate change on urban areas seriously and in taking action in both mitigation and adaptation to climate change.
